    Login issue in APAC Harmony
    Incident Report for Jitterbit
    Postmortem

    Issue:

    • Desktop studio users in Asia when connecting to EMEA or NA clouds received an ‘error 500' when trying to login. This started after 10.41 upgrade in APAC.

    Cause:

    • Jitterbit uses geolocation redirection and user lookup to direct users to their appropriate cloud. Asia users were not getting redirected correctly due to a defect in the APAC release when a user was directed there.

    Fix:

    • A work around has been implemented to correct the redirect until a permanent fix is implemented in a patch release.

The team has identified the issue and have put in a work around.

To clarify the issue, users in Asia region trying to login to clouds in EMEA or North America were getting "error 500" when logging in from Desktop Studio. The issue is related to a faulty redirect. For now a workaround has been put in place while we work on a permanent fix.
